Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 21, 2026

Promptivo is operated by AiDept Solutions, LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with. We keep it short because we collect very little.

The short version

  • We never run your prompt on an AI, and we never store the finished prompt we build for you.
  • We keep a small amount of temporary, anonymous, high-level data about user intent — never linked to your identity, IP, or email — and automatically deleted after 30 days.
  • Anonymous use is rate-limited by a one-way hash of your IP address. We do not store raw IP addresses.
  • If you subscribe to the free tier, we store your name and email — nothing more.
  • We use a small set of trusted processors (hosting, data store, analytics, and an AI model for follow-up questions).

What we collect

Anonymous visitors

To enforce the free daily limit, we take your IP address, run it through a one-way cryptographic hash (SHA-256), and store only the resulting hash alongside a per-day counter. The raw IP is never written to disk. These counters expire automatically after 48 hours.

Free-tier subscribers

If you sign up for the higher daily limit, we store the name and email you provide. Your email is also kept in a secure, HTTP-only cookie (pv_uid) so we can apply your subscriber limit on return visits. We use this information only to identify your account and operate the service. Subscriber records are retained for up to one year of inactivity.

Your prompt inputs

The finished prompt is assembled deterministically on our server and is not stored. To generate sharper follow-up questions, your task description and answers are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API for processing. We do not retain that content after the response is returned, and we do not use it to train any model.

To understand how Promptivo is used, we keep a small amount of temporary, anonymous, high-level data about user intent. It is not linked to you, your IP address, or your email, and it is automatically deleted after 30 days.

Cookies & analytics

We set one functional cookie (pv_uid) for subscribers. We also use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymized usage of the site. You can block analytics cookies through your browser without affecting how Promptivo works.

Who processes your data

  • Vercel — hosting and content delivery.
  • Upstash — the data store for usage counters and subscriber records.
  • Anthropic — processes your inputs to generate follow-up questions.
  • Google Analytics — anonymized, aggregate usage analytics.

Your choices

You can request access to, or deletion of, your subscriber record at any time by emailing aj@aideptsolutions.com. Anonymous usage counters are not linked to your identity and expire on their own.
